My mother passed away in 2016 and soon after, my father also died. After my mother’s death my siblings and I had started living at my grandmother’s house in Maai Mahiu town. My grandmother did not have any source of income and my siblings and I were all on the streets begging for food. My sister, Maureen, and I were brought to Mogogosiek Baby Home by the manager of Maai Mahiu after he had rescued our older siblings. My sister and I are now old enough for primary school and have transferred to Maai Mahiu Children’s Home to be with our siblings.
