There are 8 children in my family. I am the 6th born. My older brother, Rufus, was attending the Chariots for Hope Academy at Maai Mahiu Children’s Home. When the social worker visited our home, she realized the desperate situation we are in. I do not know my father. My mother disappeared to an unknown place years ago. We were left with my elderly grandmother who is fighting high blood pressure. She is not able to work and it have been very difficult for her to care for us. I’m thankful that my brother and I are able to live at the children’s home where all of our needs are met.
