I thought I would drop out of school soon after I started. Both of my parents are intellectually disabled and did not attend school. My dad tried to work to support us but he was not able find anything reliable. I am the sixth born of eight children. When I came to live at Kaptagat Children’s Home with my sister, Beryl, I was extremely malnourished.
