My mom passed away in 2014 due to asthmatic attacks. I was 5 years old. She was not legally married to my dad but they were living together. My paternal grandparents took me to live with them while my dad stayed in town to work. Later we learned that my dad had moved. He has not come to see us and we do not know where he is. My grandmother knows he is still alive because she hears that he has been seen somewhere. My grandparents have 11 children. My grandfather is paralyzed on one side from a stroke. They are farmers and are not able to provide for our large family.
