My name is Abel Kipchumba. I'm a very bright and hardworking student, despite the challenges I've come from. My mother passed away when I was younger, leaving my younger brother and me in the care of extended relatives. My relatives were regularly away from the home, in search of money and jobs. We had so little, leaving us neglected and often without proper care. I'd miss school often and never had the supplies needed. In my short life, I have experienced years of physical and emotional neglect.
