Kelvin’s mother passed away in an auto accident. She was a single mother and Kelvin’s father is unknown. The accident was on 30 March 2013. Kelvin was left under the care of his grandmother who is elderly and in poor health. His grandmother is not capable of providing for these children basic necessities as she is also in need. She was depending on Kelvin’s mother for her wellbeing. There are not any other relatives who can care for Kelvin, and he will not survive without an intervention.
