Sarah’s parents are both alive; however she is dependent upon relatives and well-wishers to care for her. Both of her parents abandoned their children due to domestic violence. Sarah’s father married another woman, and they are not willing to care for Sarah. Her mother, who is from another tribe, left the children and went back to her childhood home. There is no one to provide consistent and holistic care for Sarah and her sister.
