Hecline’s father passed away in 1999 due to sickness, while her mother passed away in 2001 from the same sickness. Hecline and her brother were left alone under the care of their grandmother, who still had other children in her care. Providing for the needs of her children and that of her grandchildren proved to be very difficult for her.
