Molly's Mission Trip to Kenya

Dear Family and Friends,

I hope this letter finds you well! I am incredibly thankful and excited to share that this summer I have the opportunity to travel with a team from my church on a mission trip to Kenya. From June 22 to July 1, we will partner with Chariots for Hope to share Christ’s love and hope with the children and staff at their children’s homes. Chariots for Hope currently leads and supports eight children’s homes in Kenya, serving more than 800 vulnerable and orphaned children.

This opportunity is especially meaningful to me because I have been praying for the chance to go on a mission trip for a long time now. Serving others and growing deeper in my faith has been on my heart for many years, and I am so grateful that God has opened the door for me to take part in this experience. I have always felt called to serve others, especially children, and I believe this trip will not only allow me to serve but also shape my heart and perspective in ways that will impact how I live out my faith long after returning home.

During our time in Kenya, our team will be leading a mini VBS, organizing activities, assisting with meals and daily chores, supporting children and staff, and engaging with the local community. Our goal is to serve in a way that honors God and reflects the message of 1 Peter 4:10: “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”

How You Can Help:

This mission is only possible through the support of others, and I would love to invite you to be part of this journey with me. I am working to raise $2,800 to cover transportation, accommodations, meals, supplies, and ministry resources. Here are three ways you can support this mission:
