My name is Michaela Fraser, and I am an occupational therapist. I am excited to be partnering with Gwynedd Mercy University and Chariots for Hope on a service-learning trip to Kenya in August 2026.
Our team, consisting of nine occupational therapy students and ten interdisciplinary healthcare professionals, will collaborate with local educators and healthcare providers to offer trainings. This experience is an opportunity to share knowledge, learn from one another, and support sustainable, community-centered programming.
As an occupational therapist specializing in pelvic health and maternal health, I am especially excited to help expand programming that supports mothers and babies from pregnancy through the early years of life. I look forward to exchanging ideas, building relationships, and learning alongside our Kenyan colleagues.
If you are able, a contribution of any amount will help offset the costs of travel and lodging, making this opportunity possible. Thank you so much for your support and encouragement!
With gratitude,
Michaela Fraser, OTD, MPH, OTR/L
