Isabella Zima's Fundraiser for Kenya 2026

Dear Family and Friends,

This summer I have the exciting opportunity to travel to Kenya in August 2026 on a service-learning trip with Gwynedd Mercy University's Occupational Science and Therapy program. Gwynedd Mercy is partnering with the Christian organization Chariots of Hope, which runs homes for orphans dedicated to nurturing their spiritual, physical, emotional and educational needs. Our team will be providing training and support to the caregivers and staff there. I have always been passionate about helping children, and I am looking forward to putting my occupational therapy education into practice and making a meaningful difference in the lives of the communities we have come to serve. Partnering with Chariots of Hope will give me the opportunity both to help those in need and to learn first-hand about the health-care challenges faced in other parts of the world.

The cost of the trip is approximately $3,400, which covers our travel, lodging, meals, and program expenses. Your prayers and any financial support would be greatly appreciated as I prepare for this incredible experience. Any donation, no matter how small, will help me reach my goal.
