Sarah Boyd Medical Mission Trip- Kenya 2026

Hello friends, family, and supporters!

My name is Sarah Boyd and I am fundraising to contribute towards an upcoming summer 2026 mission trip. I am currently in graduate school to get my Master’s in Occupational Therapy in hopes to provide medical support to children and disadvantaged populations. I have the privilege and amazing opportunity to visit Kenya in August of 2026 with my school, Gwynedd Mercy University, and in partnership with Chariots for Hope. While in Kenya, I will be apart of an interdisciplinary team whose sole duty is to provide aid, knowledge, and medical support to orphans in need. We will be actively engaging with orphanages, hospitals, and local universities. I will also be presenting a health care training model using principles of teaching, health literacy, and cultural humility. This medical mission trip will expand my knowledge about pediatric occupational therapy, increase my skills in collaborative care, and empower myself and those who I aid while there. Any help, financial or kind words, is greatly appreciated and will be put 100% towards funding my trip. Thank you so much!
