David was found living on the streets with his mother, who struggles with drug addiction. Due to the severity of her addiction, she would often bring David into unsafe areas, actively putting him in harms way. The majority of his life, David has experienced harsh conditions living on the street, abuse from certain situations his mother had put him in, and extreme neglect when she would leave to find drugs or be using. He's never known consistency or stability, never experienced school and exhibits detrimental social abilities. Under the protection of Chariots' Caretakers, David is experiencing structure for the first time in his life. They are dedicated and devoted to consistent forms of therapy for David so that he may learn to interact positively with others and build relationships. David is also being assessed one-on-one and in play group to ascertain the level of educational care he requires. The road before David may challenge him but there is great hope in his future!
