Robert's mother died leaving him under the care of his impoverished, elderly grandmother. She had heard that there was a Korean school in their area that offered free education if they became members of their church and if Robert could maintain high scores. They barely had means to take care of themselves and Robert would traverse thick forests with danderous valleys of hyenas to get to the school. This situation highly impacted his schooling and didn't last long, causing Robert to drop out. His grandmother found no other option but to have him join the Chariots home. He now has a safe enviroment, access to school, given all meal and time to be a kid again.
