Medical Trip Supplies

In July 2024, a medical team is traveling to Kenya to train social workers and caregivers in Screening children within the 8 Chariots for Hope orphanages for Vision, Hearing, and Development. These basic needs that necessary for children to thrive and participate in social, academic, and daily life activities. Vision, Hearing, and Development are vital areas of a child's growth and development. By screening children, we can identify a child's strengths and needs - and better support their growth and development. This team intends to partner with Chariots for Hope to develop a sustainable screening program that will provide a life-changing experience for orphans and vulnerable children in Kenya.

In order to accomplish the training, we will need to provide 3 kits for screening Hearing, Vision, and Development. Would you please partner with us in purchasing supplies and equipment?

Vision Kits: $2,277

Hearing Kits: $2,775

Developmental Kits: $175

In-country Kenyan team costs: $700

Gifts for caregivers and training team: $300

Total Supply Costs: $6,227

Personal team traveling expenses: $2,000 airline ticket, $1,900 in-country (lodging, food, travel) = $3,900 per person

Any additional funds would be provided to cover the trip cost.
