Kenya Medical Trip 2024- Cornerstone

This July, Kyle Watson, Linda Harper, and Rachel Shoener, along with a larger team, are traveling to Kenya with Chariots for Hope. We will provide support and caregiver training in the areas of vision, hearing, and development that will impact ~900 children residing in 8 different children's homes throughout the country.

We are pleased to be an extension of our church to support caregivers and children at Kaptagat Children's Home and 7 other homes. Kaptagat Children's Home is close to our hearts as Cornerstone Church sponsors Chariots for Hope Kaptagat Children's Home, providing children with educational, spiritual, emotional, and physical care. Vision, Hearing, and Development are vital areas of a child's growth and development. By screening children, we can identify a child's strengths and needs - and better support their growth and development. This team is partnering with Chariots for Hope to develop a sustainable screening program that will provide life-changing support for children in their care. We will provide training, equipment, and ongoing support to establish screenings and resources to support child development.

Would you partner with us to support the training program? We are raising funds for personal travel expenses and the training kits for hearing, vision, and development. Any extra funds received would be used for overall trip costs.
