Greenwood Mennonite Church Fundraiser

In June 2023 a team from GMC went on a Missions trip to Kenya Africa with Chariots For Hope. In visiting the Children’s Home at Maai Mahiu we saw firsthand the desperate need for a clean, reliable water source! Then and there a plan was hatched to somehow get it to them. Our church quickly raised over $25,000 (THANK YOU!) and through many God connections- a well driller came to Maai Mahiu and thought he would be able to drill down and do a well right there, instead of having to buy land and pipe it down from the mountain, which was much more expensive! They have accomplished that task and are currently getting water up from the ground! Praise God! In order to finish the project completely- Tanks and stands, pumps, piping to dorms and kitchens, and solar to run the pump are needed. We would love your help in completing this project! We are so excited with what God is doing!
